This Grand 600 had been delivered to MB of Toronto, Canada, color MB387 metallic blue.

Over the years the Benz had been purchased by a Middle Eastern Gentleman who commissioned the car to be stretched
approximately 60 inches and the interior converted. A divider was put in place and a 6 line soda vending dispenser
installed in the trunk. The interior seating was changed to a style of sofa type upholstery.

In 2003 this Grand 600 was bought by a young couple in Washington D.C. with the intent to use the car in a future
restaurant and health club operation. They commissioned Classic Car Restoration to gut the interior of the car and start
from scratch to put the interior seating back to original MB design.

The Grand Mercedes underwent a total restoration.

In Detail:

* Both front fenders were replaced
* A complete rebuild of the front axle with MB140 type engine mounts
* A complete rear axle rebuild
* New gas tank with fuel pump and filter
* Total engine rebuild with all auxiliaries
* Computerized Fuel Management System (expect 23% better fuel mileage & 20% more torque)
* Sheet-metal stripped to bare and a show repaint in MB180 silver metallic
* 5 rims blasted and powder coated; fitted with new Michelin extra-load tires
* All outside brightwork and bumpers rechromed
* Interior wood trim received new polyester finish
* New blue carpeting
* New blue leather on seats, panels and dash
* AC system with upgraded Sanden compressor and additional blower installation for rear
* New headliner
* Radio system upgraded - Becker with IPOD and 3 axial loudspeakers, new antenna
* Complete hydraulic system rebuilt
* All instruments cleaned and serviced
* New front and rear window glass with new seals
* New window channel and window brush installed
* New door and trunk seals
* New trunk mat
* H-4 headlight upgrade
* Rebuilt transmission, new transmission mount
* Rebuilt and balanced driveshaft with flex discs
* Rebuilt brake booster
* New master brake cylinder
* New factory curtains

Note: Since this conversion came from a regular Limousine the front seating dimensions are retained and not like in the
factory Pullman (cramped and only at best designed for a short driver). Even the rear seating now has two full benches
that can seat 6 people comfortably (the factory Pullman only seats 5) with 36" to stretch your legs.

This is one of a kind Pullman - a Grand Mercedes 600 ready to be driven!

Price reduced from $240,000 to $180,000

This is the only Grand 600 Stretch documented in the Mercedes Benz Grand 600 book by Michael Wiedmaier (490
pages, March 2008) on pages 241-246 and as such is a worth while assett to any corporation or business enterprise
where special transportation is desired. A numbered copy of Wiedmaier's book, signed by the author, goes with the car.

PS: We drove this 600 to Phoenix, AZ and Chicago, IL with no problems. This Grand 600 is very reliable.
